PALMETTO, FLA. — Northwest Naturals announced its distribution partnership with Choice Pet Products. Through the partnership, Choice expands its pet nutrition offerings in the raw, frozen and freeze-dried categories.

“As raw and freeze-dried diets are becoming increasingly popular among pet parents, we are excited to offer Northwest Naturals as a premium quality ingredient option for our customers to satisfy that growing need,” said Janet Carter Smith, president of Choice Pet Products. “Northwest Naturals is the perfect partner because we both are on a mission to provide retailers with pet food options that are health-enhancing and life-prolonging, and we know customers will love their nutritionally dense, minimally processed, easy-pour products.”

Northwest Naturals is a fifth-generation, family-owned and operated company. The Morasch family started their meat processing business, called Morasch Meats, in 1956,  and expanded into the pet food space in 2004, producing minimally processed raw diets under the Northwest Naturals brand. Northwest Naturals’ products are produced following strict USDA standards for human food.

The company’s products include complete-and-balanced diets for dogs and cats, offering nine recipes for dogs and seven for cats in frozen and freeze-dried formats. Additionally, Northwest Naturals offers a Raw Rewards treat line formulated with single ingredients for pets with allergies.

Under the partnership, Choice will distribute all of Northwest Naturals’ products to independent pet retailers throughout Florida.
