LOS ANGELES — On Dec. 3, pet lifestyle brand Kismet announced its official launch on e-commerce pet retail platform Chewy.
Kismet launched earlier this year, offering premium dog foods and treats, as well as pet-themed merchandise and content to “modern” pet parents. The brand’s nutritional offerings aim to fill a gap in the market, providing the benefits of fresh nutrition in a convenient kibble format. Kismet’s complete-and-balanced, dry dog food is formulated with animal proteins, superfoods, essential vitamins and minerals, and pre- and probiotics, as well as freeze-dried “nugs” to offer additional nutrients.
“We’re thrilled to launch at Chewy,” said Mathé Young Mosny, co-founder and chief executive officer of Kismet. “We started Kismet because we know what it’s like to be a pet parent today and wanted to create a company that allowed us to connect directly with our community. Dogs are silly, playful, messy and sometimes totally unhinged, and we created what we believe is the healthiest food we could to keep them that way.
“Through this launch, we can reach even more pet families, ensuring our beloved companions receive the best possible nutrition with as much convenience and care as possible,” he said.
Kismet’s full range of pet food products, including multiple dry dog foods and treats, are now available via Chewy. The brand plans to add more products to the range in early 2025.
