NEW YORK — Premium pet food brand The Pets Table, launched by meal kit company HelloFresh last August, announced it will now be available via Chewy. The direct-to-consumer brand, which offers minimally processed dog food recipes, will now be available through the omnichannel retailer with or without a subscription.

“At The Pets Table, we believe in a better way to feed our pups, so we’re excited to bring our offerings to Chewy to reach even more devoted pet parents and provide them the flexibility to try our premium recipes with or without a subscription,” said Laurent Guillemain, co-founder and chief executive officer of The Pets Table. “This aligns with our core values of health, quality and happiness for pets and their owners. We can’t wait to bring even more joy to Chewy customers, as their pets thrive on our tasty and nutritious offerings.”

The brand’s air-dried dog food and treats are the first offerings to be available through Chewy including Chicken & Sweet Potato and Beef & Berries meals, and Chicken Happy Bites, Lamb Snack Sticks and Beef Belly Bites treats. The recipes, which aim to serve as an alternative to kibble, are cooked at low temperatures to preserve nutrients.

The Pets Table plans to expand its Chewy offerings to include its fresh frozen line, which will include its Chicken Casserole with Green Beans, Beef Stew with Carrots, and Turkey Casserole with Broccoli meals. These frozen recipes are made without preservatives and fillers, according to the brand.

Pet parents purchasing The Pets Table products will have the option to order with or without a subscription, however, Chewy’s Autoship customers will receive a discount on the products.

According to The Pets Table, in its first year it sold more than 4 million meals across the United States.

“With a mission to redefine pet nutrition, The Pets Table aims to provide every furry companion with a seat at the table, offering meals made from wholesome ingredients that humans trust,” the company said.
