NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS — Following a limited dog food recall from TFP Nutrition on Oct. 20, which involved two lots of its Retriever All Life Stages Mini Chunk Chicken Recipe due to potential Salmonella contamination, the company has expanded the recall to include all products manufactured at its facility in Nacogdoches.
The expanded recall was announced Nov. 16 in conjunction with the US Food and Drug Administration and involves 34 dry dog food formulas, 21 dry cat food formulas, and one formula for floating catfish.
Affected dog food products span Country Acres Farm, Exclusive Red Flannel, Exclusive Signature, H-E-B Texas Pets, Hill Country Fare, Lone Star, Member’s Mark, Retriever, and Star Pro brands. Cat food products impacted by the recall were sold under Country Acres Farm, Economax, Exclusive Red Flannel, Exclusive Signature, Feline Medley, H-E-B Texas Pets, Multi-Cat, Meow For More, Paws & Claws, and Star Pro brands.
