PUNE, INDIA — IAMS, a Mars Petcare brand, announced it has launched its dry cat food products in India beginning this May.

The launch included IAMS’ Proactive Health Cat Food range, consisting of three varieties and formulations to suit specific health concerns in kittens and adult cats, including a unique formula developed for kittens and their mothers. IAMS’ Proactive Health Cat Food is formulated with the help of veterinarians and boasts chicken as the first ingredient to provide cats with a boost of protein.

The launch kicked off with an event in Pune on May 8, at which veterinarians, trade partners and others discussed the new cat food and how to create nutrition tailored to unique and specific needs in cats. IAMS also hosted a launch party in Mumbai on May 8.
