Colgate-Palmolive’s pet segment has partially acquired Nutriamo, a wet pet food manufacturing business in Italy, to build capacity.

The company has expanded its 8,100-square-foot plant to 32,052 square feet to provide specialized blending technology for pet food applications.

The online pet retail giant shared its fourth quarter and fiscal 2021 earnings on March 29.

Year-to-date retail sales for the company’s recently acquired pet treat business are up 21%.
