The new Pet Food Experience (PEX) Center will house the latest process technologies, testing capabilities and educational workshops to share R&D skills and knowledge with pet food and treat processors.
The two companies will combine automation expertise with a sanitary post-extrusion component to improve processing efficiency for pet food applications.
Cold extrusion can be used for a wide range of products, including those containing sensitive ingredients as it minimizes heat processing to preserve nutrient quality.
