NEW YORK — PEOPLE Magazine recently announced the winners of its annual Pet Product Awards, which included five pet treat companies. The awards spotlight innovative pet products that bring joy and convenience to consumers and improv wellbeing in pets.
This year’s pet food and treat winners include:
- Best Jerky Dog Treat/Meat Stick — West Paw Montana Beef Sticks
- Best Meat-Free Dog Treat — WagWell Freeze-Dried Cheese Treats
- Best Biscuit Dog Treat — NUTRO Crunchy treats with Real Apple
- Best Pureed Cat Treat — Wellness Lickable Treats
- Best Crunchy Cat Treat — BONKERS Purrpops
BONKERS Purrpops are crunchable, lickable, freeze-dried meat treats on a stick, with PEOPLE Magazine saying that the heart-shaped pops created “fun photo moments.” The treats are free from artificial flavors, colors and preservatives, and come in three flavors: Chicky Licks, Tip Top Tuna and Lip Smackin’ Salmon.
According to BONKERS, the “overwhelming enthusiasm” by cat parents for the treats reinforces its reputation as a leader in pet innovation.
