REIDSVILLE, NC. — Farmina Pet Foods recently released its new Farmina Genius AI to help provide pet parents advice on pet health, nutrition and care for the upcoming holiday season. Using years of knowledge and experience from hundreds of veterinarians, pet “health coaches” and breeders in combination with artificial intelligence (AI), the resource offers answers to pet-related questions from consumers.

Farmina Genius AI was born out of a mission to help protect pet health during the holidays. Many pet owners involve their pets in their holiday festivities, from feeding them bites of turkey to exposing them to hazards like tinsel and ornaments. Despite these good intentions, including pets in holiday festivities can lead to health issues, including gastrointestinal distress, pancreatitis and poisoning, as well as choking and intestinal blockages.

The new tool offers customized meal plans and pet food suggestions based on a pet’s breed, size, age and health condition; a pet care hub with guidance on pet health, behavior and training; recommendations from veterinarians and Farmina’s experts, and much more.

“At Farmina, we believe pets are more than companions — they are cherished family members,” said Loris Rinaldi, chief executive officer of Farmina Pet Foods North America. “Farmina Genius AI was created to make our expertise accessible, empowering pet parents with science-backed guidance and tailored solutions for their pets’ needs. Whether new or experienced, pet parents can also book one-on-one virtual sessions with experienced pet health coaches.

“From crafting meal plans to addressing behavioral concerns or offering peace of mind, Farmina Genius AI provides trusted guidance whenever needed,” Rinaldi added. “Our mission is to make life easier and happier for pets and their families, especially during the holidays.”
