EASTON, PA. — Phillips Pet Food & Supplies announced two promotions to its executive leadership team on Oct. 15. Current Chief Operating Officer Nick Christensen has been promoted to the position of president and Jessica Morris, current senior vice president of marketing and merchandising, has been promoted to chief sales and marketing officer.
As COO, Christensen has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational excellence, according to Phillips Pet Food & Supplies. Since joining Phillips Pet Food & Supplies in 2021, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives to enhance its operational capabilities, streamline supply chain processes, and improve customer satisfaction, according to the company.
“Nick has been a key player in our organization, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic vision,” said Blaine Phillips, chief executive officer of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies. “His promotion to president is a natural progression that enables us to continue our mission of providing the highest quality products and services to pet retailers across the nation.”
In his new role, Christensen will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, assisting with setting strategic goals and driving growth initiatives.

Since joining Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, Morris has played a pivotal role in enhancing marketing strategies and merchandising efforts, according to the company. Her expertise in brand development and customer engagement has contributed to the company’s expansion and success in the market.
With more than 17 years of experience in the pet industry, Morris will use her experience and relationships to support Phillips Pet Food & Supplies’ partners. She is also a highly regarded thought leader in the pet industry, has served as vice-chair of the e-commerce committee for the Indie Pet Association and a committee member for the Pet Care Trust, and is an active supporter of the Pets in the Classroom initiative.
