STOCKHOLM — The Nutriment Company announced the acquisition of two pet nutrition companies: PETMAN and Pet Treats Wholesale Ltd. The acquisitions represent the third and fourth companies to join its roster this year.
In July, the company announced an agreement to acquire Natural Instinct, a British pet food manufacturer. Natural Instinct’s offerings include raw and frozen, complete-and-balanced dog and cat foods, as well as raw supplements and natural treats, like Yak Cheese and Antler Dog chews.
The company also acquired Scottish raw dog food manufacturer Totally Natural Pet Products in April.
“Our growth momentum is strong — and this exciting addition to our family is a testament to our commitment to natural pet treats in our product offer,” the company said. “Moreover, all of our brands will benefit significantly from the product expertise, driving excellence across the board and amplifying our collective impact.”
Headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, PETMAN is a raw pet food manufacturer, offering a range of high-quality raw products. According to The Nutriment Company, PETMAN’s offerings and its commitment to excellence perfectly aligns with The Nutriment Company’s vision and values. The company expects to benefit from PETMAN’s capabilities and presence in the German pet food industry.
“This is more than just a business move; it's a bold step toward a future filled with limitless possibilities in the German market and beyond,” the company shared. “…With PETMAN joining our team, we are now stronger than ever.”
According to The Nutriment Company, Pet Treats Wholesale is among the leaders in natural dog treats and chews in the United Kingdom. The company offers more than 150 products including grain-free and natural offerings. It is based in Staffordshire, England.
“By combining our strengths, we’re set to unlock new opportunities and deliver even greater value to our clients and partners,” the company said. “This acquisition is more than just an expansion — it’s about synergy, shared ambition and building a brighter future together.”
The Nutriment Company’s additional portfolio of pet food brands include AniForte, Barfgold, Nova, RAUH!, Energique, Carnibest and Leo & Wolf.
