RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CALIF. — Pet food and treat producer Grandma Lucy’s announced the relaunch of its Freeze-Dried Meatball Dog Treats to celebrate its 25th anniversary. According to the company, these new offerings showcase its commitment to providing pets with wholesome, ultra-premium nutrition.

Founded in 1999 by Eric and Breann Shook, Grandma Lucy’s originally began with a goal to develop palatable food for the Shooks’ English Cocker Spaniel, Lucy. The company’s first products were the meatball treats, which gained it recognition in the industry.

According to Breann Shook, Grandma Lucy’s believes that pets are members of the family, and, as such, deserve quality foods. The company is dedicated to using high-quality ingredients and processing methods that preserve nutrients and flavor.

The relaunched Freeze-Dried Meatball Dog Treats are made with human-grade ingredients and are inspired by popular human dishes. The line includes three varieties: Cheeseburger Meatballs, inspired by summer barbecues; Chicken Parmesan Meatballs, inspired by Italian cuisine; and Pork Roast Meatballs, inspired by comforting, home-cooked meals.
