RICHMOND, VA. — TDBBS LLC issued a voluntary recall of its Green Tripe dog treats in cooperation with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to the potential presence of foreign metal objects. The recall impacts 3,551 bags of the Green Tripe treats from the company’s Barkworthies and Best Bully Sticks brands.
The recalled treats were distributed between February and May 2024 and sold nationwide in retail stores and online. The recall includes:
- Barkworthies Green Tripe dog treats in 7-oz bags with UPC 816807015686 and lot codes WO151768 and WO152373
- Best Bully Sticks Green Tripe dog treats in 2-lb bags with UPC 816807016027 and lot codes WO152669, WO153321 and WO152107
- Best Bully Sticks Green Tripe dog treats in 5-lb bags with UPC 816807016010 and lot codes WO151401, WO152319 and WO153179
According to TDBBS, there have been no reports of pet injury or illness regarding the recalled products. The company is working with distributors and retailers to ensure that all affected products are no longer available to consumers.
