CHICAGO — Matrix Partners, a full-service agency for the pet products industry, announced the appointment of Katrina Bauman to its team. Bauman will serve as the agency’s public relations (PR) and influencer coordinator.

In her role at Matrix Partners, Bauman will connect with influential lifestyle and pet-centric bloggers and social media influencers to coordinate partnerships on behalf of Matrix’s clients. She will collaborate with the agency’s PR team, brainstorming ideas and content for client press releases and campaigns, as well as pitches for new products and company announcements.

I’m confident that Katrina's previous experience, along with her love of animals, will allow her to implement impactful campaigns for our clients.”

Bauman will also help Matrix Partners expand its exclusive shelter sampling program, working with the agency’s current shelter network to offer clients’ products through fundraising events.

Prior to joining Matrix Partners, Bauman served as marketing and communications intern for the Fresh Chamber of Commerce, in which she created copy for social media, press releases, newsletters and more. She has a bachelor’s degree from Elmhurst University.
