LATHAM, NY. — Commerce network and retail software solutions provider CommerceHub announced May 9 it has expanded its partnership with online pet retail giant Chewy, which will result in improved e-commerce capabilities and a more curated product assortment on Chewy.com.
Through the expanded agreement, Chewy will utilize CommerceHub’s SaaS solution, Commerce Suite, which facilitates flexible and agile unowned inventory business models for retailers to adapt to evolving online consumer demands and expand their offerings accordingly.
According to CommerceHub, its Commerce Suite solution can help retailers improve the customer experience and grow sales through its growing network of brands. Retailers like Chewy can also use Commerce Suite to centralize the management of e-commerce operations for third-party partners of all sizes.
“Chewy is a unique company that understands its customers extremely well and wants to provide the best products and the best experiences for them,” said Pete Elmgren, chief revenue officer at CommerceHub. “CommerceHub solutions and our commerce network enhance the ability of retailers to efficiently expand and manage new products and brands and grow their businesses profitably. Our platform is designed to provide agile e-commerce capabilities and offers an excellent experience for brands on the commerce network that will be increasingly attracted to partner with leading retailers like Chewy.”
Chewy has partnered with more than 3,500 pet brands and offers over 110,000 products on its e-commerce pet retail platform, according to CommerceHub. The pet retailer’s goal is to provide a wide range of competitively priced, high-quality products and services that drive brand loyalty and repeat purchases. Its expanded partnership with CommerceHub is expected to underpin this mission.
