RIVERSIDE, CALIF. — The World Pet Association (WPA) has debuted the educational lineup for SuperZoo 2023, hosted Aug. 16 to 18 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. More than 65 sessions will be presented by over 32 industry experts on topics ranging from retail strategies to grooming skills to pet wellness trends.
“SuperZoo has long been recognized as providing the most comprehensive and cutting-edge education for pet retail and services professionals,” said Mike Karsting, senior vice president of events for the WPA. “We are thrilled to offer such a diverse and exciting educational program for SuperZoo 2023. Attendees will have the chance to learn from the best in the industry, gain valuable insights, and apply new techniques to their businesses.”
There will be two main educational tracks at SuperZoo 2023 — Retail Education and Grooming Education. Attendees can purchase a day pass for each track for $125, or a two-day pass for $199, and a combined Retail & Grooming Education Pass is priced at $150 for one day or $250 for both days of the show.
Featured sessions include Micah Kohles, DVM, MPA, chief veterinary officer at Compana Pet Brands, who will moderate a pet nutrition panel on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. Kohles will also moderate a panel on natural products on Aug. 16 at 3 p.m. He will also share a presentation titled, “Nutrition for Groomers” on Aug. 16 at 4:30 p.m.
Free 30-minute Show Floor Talks will also be available throughout SuperZoo 2023 at booth #5725, and featured programming will be available in the Emerging Brands lounge, according to the WPA.
Two workshops will take place on Thursday, Aug. 17 for an additional cost.
