STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — Petbuddy Group (PBG), a group of sustainable, direct-to-consumer pet care brands, has acquired Little BigPaw from the First Class Pet Company. The acquisition expands PBG’s premium, natural pet food offerings.
Founded in 2011, Little BigPaw offers a range of grain-free and hypoallergenic wet and dry dog and cat food formulas. Based in the United Kingdom, Little BigPaw exports its products to more than 45 countries. David Alton and Jim Weston, co-founders of Little BigPaw, will remain with the company.
Since its launch in 2018, PBG has acquired several premium, international pet brands, including pet food and supplement brand Buddy, science-based supplement brand Nutrolin®, WAP Dog Care and all-natural supplement brand MediPaws.
According to PBG, its goal is to become a leader in premium and sustainable pet food throughout Europe through mergers, acquisitions and organic growth.
