APPLETON, WIS. — Fresh-Lock, a manufacturer of reclosable solutions for flexible packaging, announced it would be showcasing its new Fresh-Lock Grip and Rip technology, among other packaging solutions for pet food, at SuperZoo 2022.

Fresh-Lock’s Grip and Rip technology serves as an alternative opening solution for woven, polypropylene film packaging with sewn tops. By using tear-bead functionality, the reclosable solution provides a simpler opening for consumers. The solution also provides a hermetically sealed package that helps protect pet food products from exposure to moisture and pests. According to Fresh-Lock, the Grip and Rip solution offers a premium look with simplified manufacturing.

Among its other pet food packaging closure solutions, Fresh-Lock will also showcase its Triple Lock Zippers, which offer extra-strong product protection. The Triple Lock Zippers are part of Fresh-Lock’s 8000 Series and use a three-lock design, offering enhanced audible and tactile locking sensations and simple open-and-close functionality. The zipper solution is specifically designed for recycle-ready films, like pouches, and can be sealed at low temperatures.

As well as its Grip and Rip and Triple Lock Zippers, Fresh-Lock offers a variety of reclosable solutions for pet food packaging and offers a variety of solutions for dry, wet and semi-moist products. Fresh-Lock will be debuting its solutions at booth #3309 at SuperZoo.
