LOS ANGELES — Jinx announced a partnership with Chris Evans, actor and entrepreneur, and his dog Dodger on July 27. As part of the collaboration, Evans will play an active role in providing creative direction at the pet food company.
"I was thrilled to find Jinx — a food Dodger loves to eat and that I know is safe and healthy for him," Evans said. "I'm excited to come on board and help grow awareness for the company so all dogs can have the highest quality food possible at an accessible price point."
At his role with Jinx, Evans will aid in brand strategy and marketing campaigns, including a new commercial planned for later this year. According to Jinx, its partnership with Evans is expected to expand its audience.
"We are thrilled to have Chris on our team,” said Sameer Mehta, co-founder of Jinx. “His entrepreneurship and his love for his dog makes him a valuable addition to the Jinx leadership team. Our vision is to elevate the way we care for our dogs by providing premium, clean-label nutrition at an attainable price point."
Jinx’s line of pet food products spans premium, natural kibble, limited-ingredient dental chews, jerky treats and freeze-dried meal toppers. The company also hinted the possibility of future products, revealing that it is striving to become a single destination for all things dog wellness.
Evans isn’t the first celebrity to partner and back the pet food company. In November of 2021, Jinx received millions in investments from Odell Beckham Jr., Halsey, Zachary Quinto, Trevor Noah, Lily Singh, as well as Chris Evans.
Currently, Jinx’s products are available in more than 2,000 Walmart locations and online via Walmart.com.
