MARBLEHEAD, MASS. and SHELBURNE, VT. — Goodness Gracious, a human food manufacturer, has partnered with A Time to Heal to distribute human-grade dog food to veterinarians throughout the United States, starting July 12.

The newly formed partnership will bring Goodness Gracious’ “gently cooked,” complete-and-balanced dog food formulas to A Time to Heal’s community of veterinarians. Crafted in small batches, the company’s pet food is high in protein and low in starch.

Goodness Gracious’ pet foods are formulated with expertise from Veterinarian Nathan Heilman, co-owner and consulting veterinarian at A Time to Heal. According to Heilman, the dog food formulas have aided several veterinary patients.

"Our ingredients include ethically-sourced proteins, anti-inflammatory non-GMO vegetables, and heathy fats to achieve diets with low glycemic loads, good Omega-3 fatty acid balances, reduced sodium levels, and antioxidant richness," Renz said.

Currently, Goodness Gracious’ complete-and-balanced, fresh/frozen dog food is available in four varieties: Chicken, Turkey, Pork & Salmon, and Beef. The company also offers a variety of other pet food products, including jerky treats, chews and toppers.

A Time to Heal provides veterinarians with a toolkit of herbs, medical supplies and holistic medical education to aid in the treatment of pets. The company believes that holistic pet nutrition can offer medical benefits to support overall health and wellness. According to the company, Goodness Gracious’ pet food complements its holistic approach to pet health.
