TUMWATER, WASH. — We are NDependent, a pet treat company, launched its new Sticks line of dog treats April 26. The sweet potato-based, crunchy treats are available in five flavors.

According to We are NDependent, the Sticks line follows the company’s tagline Everyday Uncommon™, providing dogs with necessary nutrients through healthy and uncommon ingredients. The treats are formulated with sweet potatoes, cinnamon, dandelion leaf, duck eggs, goat’s milk, beef green tripe, krill and more.

The Sticks line is available in five flavors: Sweet Potato with Beef Green Tripe, Beef and Pomegranate; Chicken Bone Broth, Chicken and Apple; Duck Egg, Duck and Pear; Goat’s Milk, Goat and Blueberry; and Krill, Sardines and Cranberry. The new treats are available in 6-oz packages for $14.99 or $15.99.

Founded in 2021 by Jeff Sandy, Rob Mellem and Rusty Hawes, We are NDependent’s team has more than 70 years combined of marketing, sales and pet product development experience. The company exclusively distributes to independent pet retailers and offers treats for both dogs and cats.

“We started with two unique target audiences, independent pet retailers and passionate pet lovers, then created a company and products for both groups,” Hawes said. “Independent [retailers] are part of our community and have led the way in terms of product innovation, education and service.”
