ST. FRANCIS, WIS. — Family-owned pet food and treat manufacturer Gott Pet Products announced Lee Higgins will serve as the company’s strategic key account manager. Higgins will increase distribution for the company’s Charlee Bear natural dog treats and Hound & Gatos natural food brands.

With more than 14 years of experience in the pet industry, Higgins will use his knowledge and connections to develop stronger relationships with distributors and pet stores.

“Lee is an enthusiastic and driven individual with a successful track record, and we’re thrilled to have him join our growing team,” said Rob Cadenhead, general manager, Gott Pet Products. “His skills and expertise within the pet space make him a valuable addition to our company.”

Prior to Gott Pet Products, Higgins has served as national sales manager for Blackwood Pet Foods, Adirondack Pet Foods and Hi Tek Rations Pet Foods. He has experience in leading domestic sales and developing national and international distribution.

Gott Pet Products’ plans for further distribution of its Charlee Bear and Hounds & Gatos brands follows the company's partnership with Phillips Pet Food & Supplies in October 2021.
