CLIFTON, N.J. — Automated Flexible Conveyor (AFC) has revamped its website, afcspiralfeeder.com, aiming to educate process engineers on ideal conveying systems.

The stars of the new site are AFC’s SPIRALFEEDER® screw conveyor, which is designed for quick and efficient transfer of challenging materials, and its Batch-Weigh System, which is an automated powder and bulk material handler used to transfer, weigh and dispense ingredients in precise amounts.

The website features in-action videos, engineering drawings and new equipment photography shot at the company’s on-site test laboratory. Educational resources include comparisons of flexible screw conveyors, pneumatic conveyors and tubular cable conveyors, and their advantages and disadvantages in various applications.

Case studies for flexible screw conveying are also featured on the website.

AFC has been providing powder processing and conveying solutions to the industry for more than 40 years. The company offers on-site product and performance testing for its customers at its New Jersey headquarters.
