NEW YORK — Optimeal, a brand of complete-and-balanced pet food formulas owned by Ukraine-based Kormotech, has partnered with Phillips Pet Food & Supplies to expand distribution across the United States.

Phillips will now add Optimeal’s dog and cat food products to 12 of its distribution centers across the United States, making them available nationwide.

“One of our top priorities as a pet food brand is to ensure that our customers can easily access our formulas,” said Roman Shpak, Senior Brand Executive at Kormotech, parent company of Optimeal. “Phillips is a well-respected distributor with strong relationships and a reputation of providing the best products and services in pet specialty. We’re excited for the opportunity to have our brand available to pet parents through this partnership.”

Optimeal first entered the United States pet market in September. The brand sells 10 dry dog food formulas, four wet dog food recipes, eight dry cat food products, and plans to launch a full line of wet cat food formulas in the future.
