LAS VEGAS — Masks will be required at SuperZoo 2021, following Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak’s mandate for Clark County regardless of vaccination status. SuperZoo shared this news on July 29, and the mask mandate went into effect on July 30.
The trade show will be held indoors at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from Aug. 16 to 19.
“Our primary goal is to protect the health of our valued attendees and exhibitors, so that you can focus on conducting business and networking with your community in-person this August at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center,” stated the World Pet Association (WPA), organizer of SuperZoo. “WPA is working with MGM closely to ensure compliance with local mandates.”
Hand washing and sanitizing stations will be “placed conveniently and frequently” throughout the event space, the organization shared.
“Our goal is to deliver the connections, solutions and experiences that only an in-person conference can offer – and that we know so many of you are craving,” WPA stated. “In fact, recent studies have shown that nearly 85% of event attendees are ready to get back to in person shows. With over 11,000 already registered and a massive list of VIP buyers, SuperZoo 2021 is sure to deliver on all of your business needs.”
WPA stated it will continue to provide updates about health and safety at the show.
