NEW YORK CITY — In line with trends toward premiumization and humanization, Bonne et Filou has made its French-inspired macaron treats for dogs available on Amazon.
“Most people treat their dogs like royalty as it is,” said Nicolas Nemeth, founder and chief executive officer of Bonne et Filou. “But at this point, there are very few specialty products that meet those standards. All we are doing is creating a luxurious experience that’s aligned with how we want to treat our pets.”
The company formulates its dog treats with all-natural organic ingredients from local suppliers, including oat flour, honey, coconut oil and yogurt for the filling. They are human-grade and do not contain preservatives or artificial colors.
Bonne et Filou’s dog macarons are available in strawberry, mint and lavender formulas. They are being sold on Amazon in six-count boxes, shelf-stable for more than one year.
Bonne et Filou dog treats are produced in small batches in the United States.
