NEW YORK — Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals, a natural pet food brand owned entirely by independent pet retailers, announced June 8 two new dog and cat food formulas to be released this summer.
The new pet food products include Duck Meal Recipe for cats and Lamb and Whitefish Meal Entrée for dogs. Both are dry kibbles.
Grandma Mae’s new duck formula for cats features high protein levels and is formulated to support urinary tract health. The brand’s new dog food with lamb and whitefish contains at least 70% animal protein and is appropriate for picky dogs or those with food sensitivities.
All Grandma Mae’s pet food formulas, including these two new recipes, are formulated with high-quality meat meals and manufactured in the United States. The products are non-GMO and are fortified with methionine to support heart health.
The brand’s pet foods are cooked using a low temperature, slow-cooking process to retain nutrient values.
Grandma Mae’s is owned by NexPet, a co-operative including 32 independent retailers across the United States.
