NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — A raw dog food producer, Cali Raw Nutrition, announced Jan. 6 it will expand its line of life-stage formulas with a new option for puppies, as well as release several other new food and treat products for dogs.

The new Turkey & Lamb Puppy Formula offers high levels of healthy fats, low carbs and locally grown vegetables, according to Cali Raw. It is produced in a USDA-inspected facility with locally sourced meats.

Cali Raw offers four other formulas in its age-specific line, including a chicken and beef option for puppies and three adult dog foods: turkey, chicken and beef.

"All of our formulas and products are based on the science of canine nutrition, with the purpose of offering age-specific nutrition for adult dogs and puppies," said Brandine Strand, founder and president of Cali Raw.

Additionally, the brand rolled out a lamb formula for adult dogs, two new varieties of raw bones, a salmon oil supplement and expanded its line of recreational raw dog bones.

"Cali Raw is an innovator in raw formulas, for both adults and puppies. We are very excited to expand our line of food, bones, treats and supplements in 2020," added James Pendergast, animal diet formulator for Cali Raw.
