PITTSBURGH, Pa. — To celebrate its 40th anniversary, PetGuard will unveil new packaging across its pet food and treat portfolio during SuperZoo 2019. The company said its new package designs “offer stronger brand presence” with a more clean, modern visual appeal meant to entice a range of pet owners, from Millennials to Baby Boomers.
Like the old packaging, PetGuard will feature images of pets on the front of its packages. The brand logo has also been slightly adapted.
“This brand identity revitalization is actually bringing PetGuard closer to its original roots. Now we can be equally proud of both our trusted formulas and the product presentation,” says Bill Shaner, managing partner and CEO of PetGuard. “We look forward to introducing the new packaging to pet specialty at SuperZoo. I think retailers and customers alike will appreciate the new color bands on our formulas that make it easy to both stock the shelves and to find the desired items. The new labels and packaging are clean, crisp, and will bring great shelf presence, along with a positive customer shopping experience.”
PetGuard reported none of its limited ingredient, all-natural formulations will change with the new packaging.
This new packaging is another step along the growth path for PetGuard throughout 2019. The company announced an executive makeover in April, then relocated its headquarters and expanded distribution in May. PetGuard also added to its national sales team in June.
The company will showcase its new packaging at booth #1111 from Aug. 20 to 22 during SuperZoo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
