EVANSVILLE, N.D. — To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its Earthborn Holistic brand, Midwestern Pet Foods has announced a line extension and giveaway to be presented during SuperZoo 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The new product line, Earthborn Holistic Unrefined, is formulated to support heart health and features added taurine, ancient grains and superfoods, such as kale, pumpkin, spinach and blueberries. It will be available in two recipes: fresh salmon and rabbit.

Wholesomes Jerky Treats, a line of dog treats recently rolled out by Midwestern Pet Foods, will also be showcased at SuperZoo. The jerky treat formulas are grain-, gluten- and propylene glycol-free.

Midwestern Pet Foods also reflected on the new products and initiatives it has achieved over the past 10 years. Aside from its dry kibble and wet diets for dogs and cats under its Earthborn Holistic brand, the company introduced Venture, a limited-ingredient pet diet, as well as oven-baked biscuits and soft chew treats.

The company has also pursued its sustainable goals by partnering with TerraCycle to help consumers recycle used pet food packaging through its Earthborn ReBorn program, as well as planting more than 650,000 trees through its UPCs for Trees program.

Midwestern Pet Foods will be exhibiting its new products and hosting a $10,000 SuperZoo money booth giveaway at booth #3635 from Aug. 19-22.
