FreezeM plans to scale its Breeding-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform to accelerate growth for the global black soldier fly protein industry.

According to Sumitomo, its investment in Cyns will help “unlock the next chapter” of black soldier fly farming in Latin America.

The chip will help advance the edible insect market with the goal of increasing the sustainability for the food and pet food industries.
