The facility will allow the company to commercialize its sustainable proteins for use in animal feed, pet food and human nutrition.

It will provide processors a comprehensive view of dry pet food production, as well as data on factors that impact the process.  

The new facility launches the company’s new Research and Exploration Services business unit.

MicroHarvest has raised €1.5 million through Simon Capital, which will be used in part to establish a new pilot plant in Portugal.
