The American Feed Industry Association and Association of American Feed Control Officials shared important updates during the 2025 Pet Food Conference.

Membership accepted K-State Olathe’s proposal. 

The contract was set to expire Jan. 15.

The Pet Food Institute provided comments to the AAFCO in response to its consideration of a new regulatory pathway for animal food ingredients. 

Under GFI #293, the agency would not enforce animal food additive requirements on ingredients listed in the 2024 AAFCO Official Publication.
