The institute is accepting proposals for its project until Dec 13.

The Blueprint to Responsibly Sourcing Animal Proteins covers each protein source’s impact on the environment, people and animal welfare. 

The facility in Dalhart will provide greater market access for producers and end users.

The association continues to advocate for policies that benefit its members and the industry.

Gina Tumbarello, senior director of global strategies, policy and trade for the AFIA, will serve on the Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness.

The company has named a new chief supply chain and operations officer.
