According to research from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, extrusion increases amino acid digestibility and protein quality of plant-based ingredients.

The company shared several updates during its Investor Day.

The food technology company plans to release pea ingredients and proteins within the next three years.

The new facility can process 125,000 tons of yellow peas per year.
