The company has teased four new product launches: one wet cat food, two wet dog foods and one wet meal topper for dogs.

Meowijuana has partnered with Petiia Co. Ltd. to distribute its catnip, treat and toy products throughout the country.

The company will invest $390 million in the new plant, creating 224 jobs in the Lewisburg area. 

The company issued a voluntary recall after routine sampling revealed the products could be contaminated with Salmonella. 

New products include senior dog supplements, plant-based protein dog treats and calming formulas.

The company is coming up on its three-year acquisition anniversary of the natural pet food and treat brand, which has grown significantly in the FDM channel under General Mills ownership. 

The company will ramp up production and innovation for its kibble alternative, Whole Food Clusters.

The two companies will work together to build a freeze-drying facility for premium pet food and food proteins.
