The National Grain and Feed Association has pushed back its 125th annual conference to June 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.

The event, Pet Link Asia @ North America, will feature a virtual exhibition hall as well as seminars on global and regional industry trends, insights and outlooks.

Organizers of the annual trade show said it will be held March 24-26, whether in-person or a virtually adapted version due to COVID-19 concerns.

Early-stage pet industry companies based in Canada and producing all-natural products will participate in the virtual pitch event.

The organization expects more than 500 attendees at this year’s event centered around building collaborative sustainability in the pet industry.

Exhibitors will virtually showcase and demonstrate their equipment solutions to pet food and treat processors from Nov. 9-13 during Pack Expo Connects. See a preview of what they have to offer.

Several conferences and gatherings have been pushed back or canceled altogether as coronavirus causes widespread community lockdowns.

The university will host several educational programs for pet food and feed industry personnel.

Bond Pet Foods and nine other early-stage companies were selected to participate in the inaugural program, hosted by Plug and Play out of its new innovation center in Topeka, Kan.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and feature Tim Schuster, founder and chief executive officer of Popup Think Tank.
