Microsoft’s Andy Daly shares insights on the digital future of pet food processing.

The Metal Packaging Technical & Engineering Center will provide design, technical, process development and engineering services to food and beverage and pet food customers.  

The company’s new facility in Lincoln aims to bring all processing to one site. 

The project, which will create a fresh dog food manufacturing plant, is headed by CTP Poland. 

Leveraging $39 million in funding, the company’s facility will help meet the need for more sustainable proteins. 

The investment will be used to support its WHISKAS, SHEBA and Royal Canin pet food brands, as well as its confectionery and human food operations. 

The company will expand capacity for both dry and wet pet foods.

The focus of the facility will be the development of plant-based, microbial and cell-based meats, dairy, seafood and egg products.
