The sustainable protein producer has begun planning for a new facility located in Al Jubail.

According to the company, alternative proteins, traceability, modern pet ownership and more are paving the way for market growth.

The facility produces FeedKind, a fermented protein ingredient that does not use any animal- nor plant-based materials.

The company will use the funds to scale its sustainably produced meat proteins.

The company has appointed Herman Sloot to vice president of commercial development.

The facility is located in China and will produce FeedKind for use in aquaculture and food industries.
