The company has acquired its first pet food production facility in the United States from Wellness Pet Company. 

The Metal Packaging Technical & Engineering Center will provide design, technical, process development and engineering services to food and beverage and pet food customers.  

The company’s new facility in Lincoln aims to bring all processing to one site. 

The project, which will create a fresh dog food manufacturing plant, is headed by CTP Poland. 

Leveraging $39 million in funding, the company’s facility will help meet the need for more sustainable proteins. 

The focus of the facility will be the development of plant-based, microbial and cell-based meats, dairy, seafood and egg products.

The company’s Tonganoxie, Kan., plant leverages advanced technology to deliver wet pet food innovation. 

The new plant is the company’s first in North Carolina and 23rd in the United States. 

New Zealand Riverland Foods Ltd partnered with its first two clients in tandem with the grand opening.

Durkha Dog Chew will begin mass production in April 2024.
