LVIV, UKRAINE — Kormotech has appointed Ulyana Fitsa to lead brands sales in Western Europe while maintaining her current position as global chief supply chain officer. According to Kormotech, this strategic combination of roles supports its 2024-2028 growth plan, which targets €500 million ($544 million USD) in turnover and aims to position itself among the top 30 pet food producers in the world.
In her new role, Fitsa will leverage her negotiation skills and industry experience to drive sales growth and build strategic partnerships with key distributors and retailers across Western Europe, further accelerating Kormotech’s international expansion.
“Yes, it’s a challenge, but where there are challenges, there are opportunities,” Fitsa said. “I have three major goals ahead: to make pets in Western Europe happier and healthier by offering them the best Ukrainian-made product, to increase Kormotech’s brand awareness in the region, and to achieve results that drive the company toward its ultimate goal.”
Fitsa has been with Kormotech since 2003, where she started as an English translator. She previously held roles of foreign economic activity manager and logistics manager, before becoming head of logistics in 2007. In 2013, she was appointed chief supply chain officer and has since grown her team to 160 professionals, ensuring seamless production and distribution of Kormotech’s products to 46 countries worldwide. Fitsa holds a Master of Business Administration.
“Ulyana’s deep industry expertise and strategic leadership have played a crucial role in Kormotech's growth, particularly through an extensive network of raw material suppliers and packaging manufacturers worldwide,” said Rostyslav Vovk, chairman of the board and co-owner of Kormotech Group of Companies. “We have been working together for 22 years, and I am glad that Kormotech can provide high-level professionals like Ulyana with new opportunities for development and the motivation to continue growing alongside the company.”
Kormotech’s Western European sales division was previously led by Nazar Shchyrba, who will now focus on sales in Latin America, the Baltics, Czechia, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.
