AMERSFOORT, THE NETHERLANDS — Nutreco shared it has recently received a 2024 Gold Globee® Award in the category of “Achievement in employee involvement and empowerment.” According to the company, the award highlights its operational excellence training and improvements throughout its various business units. 

“We are thrilled that Nutreco has received a Gold Globee Award, it shows the power of globally steered program executed with discipline by the local teams,” said Carl Schubert, global operational excellence director of Nutreco.

The company’s Operational Excellence team used real-world examples to make employee training more relevant. It also implemented bootcamp sessions through which employees visited plants to help improve operational problems and offered cross-functional training. These sessions took place throughout the globe, including Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Ecuador, Kenya, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States and Vietnam.
