NAPLES, FLA. — NutriFusion, a producer of micronutrient and phytonutrient ingredient blends, has partnered with Whole Dogg, a veterinarian-formulated pet supplement brand. Through the partnership, Whole Dogg will leverage NutriFusion’s ingredient capabilities to launch its dog supplement powder in the United States.
Founded in 2008, NutriFusion develops concentrated ingredients blends using fruits and vegetables. The company’s ingredient blends can be used in various food, beverage, supplement and pet nutrition products.
Developed under the guidance of Sarah Dodd, DVM, a board-certified veterinary nutritionist, Whole Dogg offers a dog supplement specially designed to provide essential, naturally derived nutrients. According to the brand, it is the first veterinarian-formulated supplement brand of its kind in Canada.
“Our aim was to develop a supplement that empowers pet parents to confidently provide balanced homemade diets for their dogs, focusing on natural ingredients,” Dodd said. “NutriFusion’s exceptional standards for ingredient stability and bioavailability made them the perfect partner.”
Whole Dogg will incorporate NutriFusion’s ingredient blend into its dog supplement powder and launch into the United States. According to Whole Dogg, the launch will help make it the “go-to source” in enhancing dog nutrition and meet rising demand for natural pet nutrition throughout North America. Additionally, using NutriFusion’s ingredients allows Whole Dogg to ensure all ingredients in its supplement are digestible, shelf-stable and able to withstand temperature changes, according to the brand.
“Partnering with Whole Dogg aligns with our mission to deliver high-quality, naturally sourced nutrients,” said William Grand, co-founder and chief executive officer of NutriFusion. “This innovative supplement offers pet owners a reliable solution to ensure their dogs receive essential vitamins and minerals, enhancing the quality of homemade diets.”
Whole Dogg is currently available via its e-commerce platform and at veterinary clinics throughout North America.
