COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Texas A&M University (TAMU) will host its 34th annual short course on “Feeds, Pet Food and Aqua Feed Extrusion” from Feb. 3 to 7, 2025. The course will be held live at TAMU and online.
The course will provide participants with information on different extrusion systems, designing feed mills, and how to select different conveying, drying, grinding, conditioning and feed mixing equipment. Additionally, the course will dive into the current production practices for pet food, animal feed and aqua feed, details on recycling byproducts and nutrition principles, the use of digests, preservatives, encapsulated ingredients and premixes, and much more.
Participants are eligible for 30 professional development hours.
