SÃO PAULO — PremieRpet, a Brazilian manufacturer of high-quality, super-premium pet food products and the company behind Natoo Pet Foods, has partnered with Onçafari, a biodiversity conservation association, to help save Brazilian wildlife.
Since May, wildfires have broken out in Pantanal, burning more than 2.5 million acres of land, with the most recent fire breaking out just a few weeks ago. With a mission to protect local Brazilian wildlife and its natural habits, Onçafari is committed to tackling the damage caused by the Pantanal wildfires through its Pantanal Recovery Fund.
Through the partnership, PremieRpet has donated $45,000 to Onçafari’s fund and also debuted new, limited-edition packaging for its Nattu dry pet food line to promote the partnership. PremieRpet has been an avid supporter of Onçafari in the past.
“As a company that holds biodiversity conservation so close to our hearts, we’re devastated about the wildfires sweeping through Brazil’s Pantanal,” said Fernando Maluf, vice president of international sales at PremieRpet. “Every contribution makes a difference which is why we’ve donated $150k to Onçafari, an NGO (nongovernmental organization) that helps preserve the Pantanal, and $150K to the Jaguar Parade, an NGO that spreads awareness about the protection of rainforests, wetlands and other ecosystems in Brazil through art and culture. We’ll continue to support the efforts of these organizations by debuting limited edition packaging on our PremieR® Nattu line and raising donations for the Pantanal Recovery Fund.”
PremieRpet’s new packaging for its Nattu line is available now. Nattu offers a variety of premium dry foods for cats and dogs. A portion of proceeds from every purchased product of the Nattu line will go towards the preservation of Pantanal to help recover areas that have been impacted by the wildfires and care for the animals in the area.
