STAMFORD, CONN. — The American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA) announced that buyer registration for Global Pet Expo 2025 is now open. The pet industry event will be held from March 26 to 28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Co-produced by APPA and PIDA, the event brings together nearly 20,000 pet industry professionals representing over 85 countries to advance the pet industry. As the leading event in pet innovation, new products, and trends, this year’s Global Pet Expo builds on the success of a record-breaking 20th Annual show in 2024.
Registration for the show includes access to exhibits and new product launches, along with opportunities to network, develop business, attend educational sessions and more.
“Global Pet Expo is a can’t-miss event for pet product professionals to stay abreast of this rapidly evolving industry,” said Pete Scott, APPA president and chief executive officer. “The APPA and PIDA teams look forward to once again bringing together our industry’s manufacturers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, thought leaders and creative minds who share our mission to foster pet ownership through growth and innovation.
“This year’s theme, ‘Pets. Where Perspectives Spark Innovation,’ reflects our commitment to the future of the pet industry,” Scott added.
Some notable changes to the show floor include the Sustainability Pavilion, in partnership with the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC), which will expand to include more exhibitors and educational programming, and will showcase sustainable pet companies. The Supplier Pavilion will also be expanded to highlight the latest innovations in packaging, ingredients, equipment and service offerings.
“Both the APPA and PIDA teams continue to push the boundaries of what is possible to revolutionize the show and attendee experience and, most importantly, drive value,” said Celeste Powers, president of PIDA. “This year’s Global Pet Expo is destined to be our most powerful show yet.”
Call for Speakers for the Global Learning Series is also open. Educational topics include customer experience, business growth, human resources, leadership, industry insights, innovation and technology, public relations, marketing and more.
Speakers are encouraged to submit their presentations on the Global Pet Expo website by October 11, 2024.
