BIBERACH RISS, GERMANY — Equipment suppliers Handtmann and Multivac have collaborated to launch the Future Pet Food Conference 2024, an in-person conference that aims to provide insights, networking opportunities and more to members of the European pet food industry. The conference will be held Nov. 5 to 6 at Handtmann’s headquarters in Biberach Riss.

The event will explore a variety of topics, including:
- Emerging trends, insights and the future of the market
- Ingredient innovations, specifically new protein sources, insect-based formulas, fermented proteins and the use of hydrocolloids
- Processing and packaging, showcasing on-site demonstrations at Handtmann’s Technology Center, as well as discussing sustainability in production, reducing carbon footprint through packaging and new packaging concepts.
The two-day event will begin on Nov. 5 with a welcome address from Suchanka and Traumann. Additional speakers include:
