KANSAS CITY, MO. — Three Dog Brands, LLC (TDB) announced its acquisition of Kennelmaster Foods Inc., a manufacturer of savory, dehydrated pet treats marketed under the Chips Naturals brand.

Founded in 2008, Kennelmaster is operated by sisters Vicki Wagner and Joann Bennett. The brand offers single-ingredient, high-protein products. Doggie Chicken Chips, which closely resemble potato chips, is the company’s most popular product. The chips are manufactured at Kennelmaster’s facility in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

TDB was acquired by Topspin Consumer Partners, a private equity firm, in June 2023. Three Dog Bakery® markets its dog treats, including Lick’n Crunch!® and Assort“Mutt”® Trio in the treat aisles of pet stores, grocery markets, mass retailers and select online retailers in the United States and Canada.
