AUSTIN, TEXAS — Nulo announced the appointment of Eric Emmenegger and Jenneifer Rottenberg as its new co-heads of marketing. The news follows the company’s recent awareness campaign and product launches.

With 10 years of experience in the natural pet food industry, Emmenegger has been named head of retail and product marketing. He previously worked at Instinct, where he provided strategic leadership for the brand’s performance and business planning processes.

Emmenegger will be responsible for driving strategy, execution and outcomes for Nulo, specifically in product support and business building across all trade channels.

With more than 20 years of sports marketing experience, Rottenberg has been named head of consumer and brand marketing. She previously worked with Nulo as a consultant, supporting its “Fuel Incredible” campaign and Olympian partnerships during the Paris Summer Olympics.

Rottenberg will use her experience to continue improving Nulo’s athlete-driven strategies through partnerships, sponsorships, PR, digital and social media.

“Nulo is at an inflection point in the development of our brand and business,” said Michael Landa, founder and chief executive officer of Nulo. “We are currently leading both volume and unit growth in the super-premium segment of the pet food market. This is due in no small part to our innovation platform and top line investments in brand building through television, digital and social media during the recent Paris Olympic Games — and continuing through the Paralympic Games in September. The appointment of Eric and Jen to lead our marketing teams arrives at precisely the right moment to build and extend the growth momentum we’ve established.”

Emmenegger and Rottenberg will work alongside each other to integrate trade, product and consumer brand marketing strategies to support Nulo’s recent product launches and additional launches in the future.
