STOCKHOLM and FRIMLEY, ENGLAND — The Nutriment Company announced it signed an agreement to acquire Natural Instinct, a British pet food manufacturer, advancing upon its goal of becoming a leading player in the Central European pet food market.
Natural Instinct specializes in biologically appropriate raw foods for dogs and cats. The company’s current offerings include raw and frozen, complete-and-balanced dog and cat foods, as well asraw supplements and natural treats, like Yak Cheese and Antler Dog chews. To create its products, Natural Instinct uses natural ingredients that are free from artificial additives, grains and fillers.
According to The Nutriment Company, Natural Instinct is a pioneer in the raw pet food segment.
“This acquisition is a huge milestone for us and brings us closer to our vision of cementing ourselves as a leading player in central Europe,” The Nutriment Company shared. “By joining forces with one of the oldest and most prestigious British raw pet food manufacturers, we are expanding our portfolio and strengthening our position in the United Kingdom.”
Natural Instinct will join The Nutriment Company’s portfolio of pet food brands, which includes AniForte, Barfgold, Nova, RAUH!, Energique, Carnibest, Leo & Wolf and Totally Natural Pet Products, which the company acquired in April.
